Women’s History Month and Historical Women’s Foot Conditions

March is Women’s History Month, a time to recognize women for their accomplishments and contributions to society.  Let us also take a moment to discuss foot conditions that have historically occurred in women’s feet: bunion deformities, hammertoes, neuromas, and flat feet.  Although men may suffer from these conditions also, they have been found to occur more often in women’s feet.  The good news is that there are ways to prevent these conditions from developing.

Please watch our brief video discussing the foot conditions that have historically occurred in women:

We all at Progressive Foot Care wish you and your family a most pleasant Spring.  Enjoy the warmer weather and make an effort to exercise outdoors, if possible.

Taking good care of your feet can be your first step towards good health. Remember, your feet are the foundation for your body.
