As the summer comes to an end in the next few weeks, children and students will be returning back to school. Purchasing new footwear just before the start of the school year is a tradition for many parents. Selecting the proper shoes is important for overall good foot health and hygiene.

Speaking of shoes, Progressive Foot Care’s 17th Annual Holiday Shoe Drive for the Homeless will begin this October 15th. We have partnered once again with The United Way of Rockland and The United Way of Westchester and Putnam to help provide footwear to the less fortunate in our community. Footwear of all types (children’s and adult’s) can be dropped off at either office location (New City or White Plains). Let’s help support those in need once again.
We all at Progressive Foot Care hope you and your family enjoy the rest of the summer, with lots of fun-filled days at the pool and at the beach. Taking good care of your feet can be your first step towards good health. Remember, your feet are the foundation for your body.
Yours in good health,
Dr. Bruce Pinker, DPM, AACFAS, FAPWCA, DABPM, FACPM
