November is Diabetes Awareness Month, reminding us, especially just before the holidays, to be mindful of the foods we choose to consume. We all should practice proper nutrition, especially those with diabetes. Did you know that diabetes can have serious effects upon our feet, such as diabetic peripheral neuropathy? Commonly found as numbness, tingling, and burning in the feet, diabetic peripheral neuropathy can be debilitating and upsetting for many individuals. Please watch our brief video about this important topic:

Earlier this month, I was quoted in the following publications:
- The 8 Best Shoes for Nurses, Doctors and Healthcare Workers—Tested and Reviewed
- Your Guide to the Most Supportive Running Shoes for Flat Feet
- 23 best walking shoes for women, recommended by a podiatrist — including waterproof options for Canadian winter
We at Progressive Foot Care wish you and your family a happy Thanksgiving and holiday season. Taking good care of your feet can be your first step towards good health. Remember, your feet are the foundation for your body.
Yours in good health,
