September is Peripheral Arterial Disease (P.A.D.) Awareness Month. This refers to the circulation or blood flow in our limbs, specifically in the legs and feet. There are several risk factors that can influence one’s chances of developing P.A.D.
These important risk factors, as well as a case history of one of our patients at Progressive Foot Care who was treated for P.A.D., are discussed in our brief video:

Let’s remember to stay healthy and reduce our chances of developing P.A.D.
Recently, Progressive Foot Care was quoted in the following publications:
- What Do Compression Socks Do? Doctors Explain.
- The best socks for women you can add your cart right now
Our 18th Annual Holiday Shoe Drive for the Homeless will begin on October 15th, as we partner again with the United Way of Rockland and the United Way of Westchester & Putnam. Please remember to drop off footwear of all sizes and styles (children’s too!) at either office location. Let’s help to support the less fortunate in our community.
Taking good care of your feet can be your first step towards good health. Remember, your feet are the foundation for your body.
