Invented in 1965, pickleball has become an extremely popular sport. Individuals of all ages can play this exciting, fast-moving game. While pickleball is very enjoyable, it can unfortunately bring on some injuries.
In our offices, we often see patients suffering from ankle sprains, Achilles strains/tendinitis, and heel pain/plantar fasciitis as a result of playing pickleball. Warming up properly and stretching out prior to playing is essential to helping to prevent injuries.
