
The month of May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month, specifically designated just before the official start of the summer, to remind us to be mindful of the sun’s rays. While many of us enjoy being out in the sun, excessive sun exposure can be harmful. After just a few serious sunburns, one’s risk of developing skin cancer significantly increases. The sun also has a drying effect on our skin, reducing its suppleness and its soft texture. Our feet are important, and need to be protected when outdoors.
